Ranger's Game w/ EJ and Meg

So my mom gave us some tickets to a Ranger's Game (don't even ask who they played bc I really don't know lol). We went with My brother, Ethan and his GF Megan. It was so much fun to just get away without the kids for a little while. We were sitting in the Lexus level seats so they were pretty good (not to mention they made amazing Margaritas on the rocks!!) It looked like it was going to storm at any minute the whole time, but we didn't mind...the breeze was great!! So, after a few margaritas it was time to go home (to beat the traffic and bc Ethan had DEP the next morning.) There are 2 things you should know about having a husband who drives a Mustang GT:
1. It is NEVER a "smooth" ride
2. You should never close your eyes while riding in the backseat with my husband driving.

Needless to say, I may have accidently thrown up in the backseat of my Hubby's "Baby" on the way home. I tried to tell them but no one would listen. The worst part of it all is that I wasn't even that "drunk," it was just the motion of the car that made me sick!! All in all, it was SO much fun!! We must do this again....before my lil E.J. goes off to the Navy:(

Hope all is well with everyone else out there!!

This Storm looked way more horrible than this!!

Me and my Hubby :) (after a few drinks lol)

Do any of you experienced bloggers out there have any idea how I made the text underlined up top...I can not make it go away :)~

Atleast Im not the only one :)

I got this in an email and I have seen it before but it never gets old!! Life with boys is just CRAZY! Enjoy:
You find out interesting things when you have sons, like...
1.) A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house 4 inches deep.
2.) If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3.) A 3-year old Boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4.) If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not st rong enough to rotate a 42 pound Boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20x20 ft. room.
5.) You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6.) The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7.) When you hear the toilet flush and the words 'uh oh', it's already too late.
8.) Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9.) A six-year old Boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36- year old Man says they can only do it in the movies.
10.) Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old Boy.
11.) Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12.) Super glue is forever.
13.) No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
14.) Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15.) VCR's do not eject 'PB & J' sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16.) Garbage bags do not mak e good parachutes.
17.) Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18.) You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19.) Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20.) The fire department in Austin , TX has a 5-minute response time.
21.) The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22.) It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23.) Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24.) 80% of Women will pass this on to almost all of their friends, with or without kids.
25.) 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.

Lake Whitney

Taylor, Abbey, and Jacob tried out the tube from the lake house that held 4 people....Taylor screamed the ENTIRE time!! SHe even scratched Jacob with her TOE lol because she was trying to get inside of the tube!! SOOO funny! I have a video I will post tomorrow :)

My sweet baby Jaxon fell asleep like this! It was so cute :) Obviously I moved him under the cover so he could finish sleeping, but I had to get a picture 1st...I just love this kid to pieces!!

It was so pretty out here. When we took the boat in to the dock we had to go in between all these rocks and we were at the very end of the cove. It was so amazing!

Mason is my "water baby" (even though he hasn't been a baby in so long OMG) for sure..this is Mason and Taylor's friend Abbey. He never wanted to get out of the lake, AND he almost jumped off of a cliff!!!!

Bobbe, Hayden and Mason swam over to an island and hunted for sea shells. Hayden LOVED this!
So we went to lake Whitney back in May, but I had to post some of the pictures from there.
We stayed at a friends lake house and it was so great! We relaxed on hammocs while we watched the kids play in the tree swing, cooked dinner and breakfast at the house, went out on the boat all day, drove some 4-wheel cool "guy" thing lol, and on and on.
It was so relaxing and so much fun to get to relax with the kids without having to do a 1000 things.
I seems like the days are sometimes filled with so much chaos that we don't get the chance anymore to just take a minute and spend it ONLY on being a family and loving eachother.
SO, needless to say this was a wonderful trip and we are so glad we went.

Pampered Chef

So I went to my first Pampered Chef party last night (with Miss Tay) and it was so much fun!!
It was hosted by my neighbors, Sara (sister-in-law) and Ruth.
I was actually amazed at how awesome their product is!!
Taylor and I both even won a drawing, so we recieved 2 paring knives and 2 recipe books (Sara...would you like one of those?? We don't really need 2!)
Ofcourse, it is all a little out of my price range considering I have 4 kiddos, but I would love to save for some of the pieces......or........possibly sell it!
Lol.
It feels like I am finding oppurtunities left and right lately. Hopefully, God will let one of them truly work for me!! I am going to talk to the lady who did the party next week, and look at some of the information today. Who knows with me! Maybe I will. Maybe not :)~

Anyways, thank you Sara for turning me on to the world of Pampered Chef....Im still trying to sweet talk Bobbe for my Dish lol!

This summer Has been so boring for the boys..and myself and Taylor!!

It has been so hot outside, that taking 5 boys anywhwere would be awful.
We have been going to the movies on Tuesday and McDonalds Small Fry Club on Wednesdays. We also have park time in the mornings, but after 2 it is just too hot to do anything!! If anyone else has any ideas please let me know!!
So please pray we find some things to do that are affordable....we can not be stuck in the house anymore lol :)

1st of many......

"It might be a crazy life...but it's OUR life." Jon & Kate
I watch the show "Jon and Kate plus 8" all the time.
When I first heard this at the beginning of the show, it immediatly became my motto as well!
I don't care what kind of negative attention that show gets, because people have their problems (as Bobbe and I know) and I will watch as long as it's on!!

Soooo....for those who don't know me well:
My name is Erica. I am married to the most fabulous husband Bobbe and I have 4 BEAUTIFUL children.
3 CRAZY little boys (Mason Rylee, Hayden Nicholas, and Jaxon Tyler) and Miss Taylor Nicole, who is 14 going on 30 :)
I am a stay-at-home Mom, and childcare provider.
It is pretty much hectic here all the time, but everyday gets a little better :)

This blog is for family and friends to keep up with how our children are growing.
I know not everyone gets the chance to see them all the time, so if you ever want an update...here it is.
