Spring Break...WHAT break?!?!?

So, I do not mean to be THAT Mom when I say "I wish this week was over," but I DO!!
Do not get me wrong I love my kids more than anything in the world.
We will have a BLAST at Six Flags on Friday (we got season passes-future post) and I really do enjoy getting extra time with them. BUT. And that is a HUGE but. The older these kids seem to get the less THEY enjoy ME.
Seriously, all of a sudden I am this boring, annoying person in their eyes. It does not matter what I plan or do, it never seems to be "cool" enough for any of them. If we are not out and about doing something (aka Six Flags) then they all sulk around the house like there is nothing to do. And if I hear another person say "I'm bored," I think I just might vomit.
SO, I do kind of wish this week was over :(
It might make me sound like a bad Mom, but I do not care. We are all so much happier with our routine in place, and 1 week is not long enough to bother making a change for a new one.

I love my children to the moon and back, but I need my "Mommy Time" WAY more than I thought!!
Pray for me.....

It is Always Something...

Well, once again my SUV is Out of Service.
It actually makes me a bit sick to my stomach. I feel like we are always
working on this truck, and I am not sure how much more I can take. Bobbe is out of town until tonight, so I am stuck here until then.
Unfortunately, poor Jaxon is stuck too because he goes to a
different school then the other 2 boys :(
I remember a time when I would have LOVED to be stranded at home.
Before I had Mason, I was always on the go with work and school.
I would have given anything to stay home for an entire day.
As a Mom, NOT so much.
HELLO!!!!
I have 100 things I need to do!!
And 4 kids to pick up and drop off at 3 different schools!
I do not have time for this!!
If anyone is reading this...Please pray for Patience :)
On a more positive note...at least I get to have a "lazy" day at home.
I guess.

Last Museum Trip of 2010

Mason is 8 going on 18 :( This child is constantly learning and is way to smart for his own good. Oh, and they all LOVE paper airplanes, so this Exhibit was a HUGE hit!!
He is really concentrating on this one. I love watching them learn new things.

Jaxon always finds little girls to play with..little stud :) Man, I am in trouble!

Hayden's favorite Exhibit...Dino Dig
I personally think the "old" one was WAY better.

Miss Taylor, 15 years old

New Exhibit! Lost Egypt. It was very cool :)

This is their favorite Photo spot

Hayden, Jaxon, Mason & Peyton
For those of you that do not know me, I have a 5 year old sister (Kassidy) and a 9 year old brother (Peyton). Yes, my Dad is a little crazy. It must be genetic ;)

These boys are so silly :)

Being a Mama sure makes you look exhausted!!

Last year we bought a Season Pass to the Fort Worth Science Museum and it has been AWESOME! We have been able to go as often as we want, and if it is too crowded then we can just go home! I love that part the most :) As a Mom of 4 kids, I am constantly looking for cheap things to do. Well, those are very limited. Seriously. I have really enjoyed this option though. The Museum gets new exhibits several times a year, and the kids still love the same old stuff they see everytime. We will definitly be getting a Season Pass again this year!
Our Season Pass Wish List also includes:
Six Flags
The Zoo

Better Late Then Never :)

We LOVE camping!! (Spring 2010) Cub Scouts has been a really neat experience for the boys AND myself. Hayden is a Tiger Cub this year and Mason moved up to be a Wolf :) I help out being the Tiger Scout leader and Bobbe is the Grub Master. We have all learned so much and it is an awesome way to spend time all together. I highly recommend Scouting to any family with boys!!

I love when they are nice to each other. I found them like this one night and this has become one of my most favorite photos of 2010. I love these boys!

We tried Karate for a few weeks this year. The boys loved it, but MAN it was expensive for 3 of them. Maybe next year...

Taylor had a very long year, but things are really starting to look up for her. She is growing up, that is for sure. This photo is from early 2010. We were dress shopping for a dance at school. We actually bought this dress (for $20!!) but she ended up wearing a different one ;) Go figure!!

A New Year

My New Years Resolution this year is going to be simple. I am not going to do what I do every year and kill myself trying to be a "perfect" Mom. What the he!! is a "perfect" Mom anyway?? In the 8 years that I have been a Mom I have never figured that out. Not because I have not tried, because I have definitely tried! It just is not possible!! As Moms, we can either drive ourselves INSANE trying to be what everyone else thinks we should be. OR, we can do as much as we can, love our kids as much as they deserve to be loved, and not worry about what we are "supposed" to be doing. Our kids did not come with rule books...and neither did Motherhood. So, my Resolution this year is to "write" my own "Rulebook" and live by my OWN set of Rules. As long as we are all Healthy and Happy, I think I am doing JUST FINE :)I REALLY need to play catch up and do an overview of 2010 in pictures. That is on my To-Do List for next week! Hopefully, my blogging skills will improve this year :) I can dream anyway...
Hello 2011!! I love my sweet Family more then anything in the world. They are my heart, my soul, my Everything. Bobbe, Taylor, Mason, Hayden and Jaxon...You guys are the reason I am here...my purpose in life. I love you to the Moon and back.....

Ranger's Game w/ EJ and Meg

So my mom gave us some tickets to a Ranger's Game (don't even ask who they played bc I really don't know lol). We went with My brother, Ethan and his GF Megan. It was so much fun to just get away without the kids for a little while. We were sitting in the Lexus level seats so they were pretty good (not to mention they made amazing Margaritas on the rocks!!) It looked like it was going to storm at any minute the whole time, but we didn't mind...the breeze was great!! So, after a few margaritas it was time to go home (to beat the traffic and bc Ethan had DEP the next morning.) There are 2 things you should know about having a husband who drives a Mustang GT:
1. It is NEVER a "smooth" ride
2. You should never close your eyes while riding in the backseat with my husband driving.

Needless to say, I may have accidently thrown up in the backseat of my Hubby's "Baby" on the way home. I tried to tell them but no one would listen. The worst part of it all is that I wasn't even that "drunk," it was just the motion of the car that made me sick!! All in all, it was SO much fun!! We must do this again....before my lil E.J. goes off to the Navy:(

Hope all is well with everyone else out there!!

Ethan, Megan, ME and Bobbe right before we left
This Storm looked way more horrible than this!!
Ethan, Meg, Me and Bobbe in the stands

Me and Miss Megan

Me and my Hubby :) (after a few drinks lol)

Do any of you experienced bloggers out there have any idea how I made the text underlined up top...I can not make it go away :)~

Atleast Im not the only one :)

I got this in an email and I have seen it before but it never gets old!! Life with boys is just CRAZY! Enjoy:
You find out interesting things when you have sons, like...
1.) A king size waterbed holds enough water to fill a 2000 sq. ft. house 4 inches deep.
2.) If you spray hair spray on dust bunnies and run over them with roller blades, they can ignite.
3.) A 3-year old Boy's voice is louder than 200 adults in a crowded restaurant.
4.) If you hook a dog leash over a ceiling fan, the motor is not st rong enough to rotate a 42 pound Boy wearing Batman underwear and a Superman cape. It is strong enough, however, if tied to a paint can, to spread paint on all four walls of a 20x20 ft. room.
5.) You should not throw baseballs up when the ceiling fan is on. When using a ceiling fan as a bat, you have to throw the ball up a few times before you get a hit. A ceiling fan can hit a baseball a long way.
6.) The glass in windows (even double-pane) doesn't stop a baseball hit by a ceiling fan.
7.) When you hear the toilet flush and the words 'uh oh', it's already too late.
8.) Brake fluid mixed with Clorox makes smoke, and lots of it.
9.) A six-year old Boy can start a fire with a flint rock even though a 36- year old Man says they can only do it in the movies.
10.) Certain Lego's will pass through the digestive tract of a 4-year old Boy.
11.) Play dough and microwave should not be used in the same sentence.
12.) Super glue is forever.
13.) No matter how much Jell-O you put in a swimming pool you still can't walk on water.
14.) Pool filters do not like Jell-O.
15.) VCR's do not eject 'PB & J' sandwiches even though TV commercials show they do.
16.) Garbage bags do not mak e good parachutes.
17.) Marbles in gas tanks make lots of noise when driving.
18.) You probably DO NOT want to know what that odor is.
19.) Always look in the oven before you turn it on; plastic toys do not like ovens.
20.) The fire department in Austin , TX has a 5-minute response time.
21.) The spin cycle on the washing machine does not make earthworms dizzy.
22.) It will, however, make cats dizzy.
23.) Cats throw up twice their body weight when dizzy.
24.) 80% of Women will pass this on to almost all of their friends, with or without kids.
25.) 80% of Men who read this will try mixing the Clorox and brake fluid.
